Intermittent mail sound????

Outlook 200 seems to play an incoming mail sound "most" of the time but does
not some time too? What would casue that? Could it be attachment related?
Control Panel sound is set to valid wav file for incoming mail and Outlook
Tools Options play sound when mail arrives is selected.

Help?
