It's helpful to know what happened when you tried certain things, in order to troubleshoot. Based on the fact the CD wouldn't copy successfully, I believe you either need to use a non-CD-RW drive, like the article suggests, or try ordering a new CD, per the support article.

Thanks Susan for all your help, I forgot to mention this is my 2nd CD as I thought the first one was faulty lol, and I had the same error on the first one......... I will try to get hold of a CD Rom and try that. I will keep you informed.

Hi, I have just tried to copy the disc again so I could tell you the actual thing it said, this was........ Cannot copy AAP. Data error. (Cyclic redundancy check).
