Upgrading Disk 2 of Office 2000 SR-1 to Service Pack 3 worked fine on Win 98
but efforts to upgrade Disk 1 return an error message.
Add/Remove Programs shows that Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Small Business and
Microsoft Office SR-1 Disc 2 are installed and I do have the original
installation disks. I have turned off virus check. The installation fails
shortly after asking for insertion of Disk 1 suggesting the problem may be
with a file on that disk. Any ideas?
