Internet Explorer Favorites List In Outlook 2007

Does anyone know if it's possible to get your IE favorites list in
Outlook 2k7? I can get every other web browsing command to show up in
the toolbar except the favorites.. I can get "Add to Favorites" and
"Organize Favorites" but the head of my organization wants the
favorites list dropdown in there for browsing w/in Outlook. I could do
it on Office 2k and 2k2.
Thanks!

Why would you want to use Outlook as a web browser? That's not what it's
designed for. A proper web browser has so much more than browsing in
outlook, particularly, I believe, all the security. AFAIK using Outlook as a
web browser relinquishes many of the security functions that a dedicated web
browser has,

I'll look into security risks involved w/ using Outlook as a browser..
I don't know why anyone would want to use it as a browser.. He's old
and stuck in his ways. Anyone know if the favorites list is available
in Outlook 2k7?
I'm looking up security risks now.

FYI,
Outlook uses IE for producing webpages and may actually be more secure
than the actual IE application in their default states because scripts
are run in the restricted sites zone.

Yes it is available. Right click menu or toolbar, click
customize, choose favorites from commands on left and drag
to menu bar.
security in outlook 2007 is VERY tight!!

I've tried this. When I highlight "Favorites" in the categories column
on the left I cannot drag it. I can only drag the "Add to Favorites"
or "Organize Favorites" from the "Commands" column on the right.

Not Outlook 2007. It uses Word for its rendering.

Ok, So.. besides security issues and the fact that it's retarded to
use Outlook as a browser.. Anyone know how to get your faves list in
the Web Toolbar for Outlook 2k7?

That's the wrong command. You want the Menu bar, Favorites.http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2004/20041116.htm
