Internet Explorer Problem

I am having a problem with the drop down menus being blank in explorer. An
example would be if I am purchasing something and trying to fill in my credit
card info. When picking anything like month or year- the box will open but
will be blank instead of having the list of years to select from. This seems
to be in all drop down lists. I have downloaded last IE version, but this
still continues. Any help is appreciated.
