settings\owner\localsettings\temporaryInternetfile s\frontpagetempdir\pvw4.htm

It works but when the window opens I get message at top "to help protect your
security, Internet explorer has restricted the file from showing active
content that could access your computer. Click here for options...

It has worked correctly before........

Many thanks

Because of security update, it now longer work that way. Use File Menu | Preview in Browser.

When the page is viewed from a web server via http, users will not see that warning.

Just a thought....could it be a missing ActiveX component as Im sure the kids

activeX program???

Many thanks

When you use Preview in Browser you are seeing how the page will really be displayed in a browser,
whereas the Preview tab doesn't.

The security warning are because you are viewing a file with a script from a file based location.

Hello,

It can come out if there is any JavaScript in the template and only comes
out if you are running the file directly instead of from a web server

To disable the message, Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced
(Tab) > CHECK Allow active content to run in files on My Computer (under
Security) > OK
