I have run the diagnostic check on my computer for my DSL connection multiple
times and everything comes back "okay". However, websites that I attempt to
viewr take forever to open, if at all. I will frequently get messages telling
me that the page is unavailable. The only thing that would open consistently
without crashing was yahoo.com, which is my homepage. What could be causing
this if my actual connection to my server/DSL (if that is the same thing..I'm
clueless) is okay?

You might try in the IE newsgroup.
This group is for posts concerning Office.
