Rick is correct; however, it's easy to understand how someone who is less of
a GEEK than the rest of us here and whose life does not revolve around
Microsoft Access and database development could look at the name of this
newsgroup and mistake it for one to which you could post general queries
about internet access and receive a friendly and helpful response.
All of that said and in an effort to offer some assistance to Linda who
still can't get online...Linda, you obviously have connection because you've
been able to post this message (unless you've done that from a different
location), otherwise I'd say you may need to look at that as well. More
times than we'd like, a problem can crop up and seem to coincide with
something else we've done and after hours of troubleshooting in that
direction it ends up somehow totally unrelated. If you have simply fowled
up a setting, perhaps going through the setup wizard in Explorer
(Tools|InternetOptions|ConnectionsTab|Setup) might straighten everything
back out. Otherwise, perhaps the microsoft.public.inetexplorer group would
be a better place to look for this solution...chances are the'll get you
back on track and be a little less Cranky about it. LOL
