I have been using Outlook Express to pick up my hotmail and another pop
account for some time now. We have recently purchased Office 2003 and would
like my hotmail to be picked up through it. So far it has not let me download
the folders. or let me send recieve any e-mails.

It come up saying that it cannot connect to my server. I have tried every
option availibly in the E-mail accounts>More settings>connections. But It
still will not let me pick up my e-mail.

Another problem I have also found is that in any of the office 2003
aplications the help cannot connect to the internet to view online results
from myb quiries.

Does anyone know how to make Office-wide connection changes?

If so, please respond to this message,
or e-mail me:

Hotmail in Outlook and OE is no longer supported. It might remain supported
for some users if you have previously used that service.
The alternative if you can't use it is to a paid subscription to MSN Premium
and to use the MSN Connector in Outlook.

Your second question is possibly best asked in an Office General group.

Thank-you for the time and effort that you made in helping me answer my
question.
After writing my post on the help community, I spoke to a firned on the
telephone. The setting on my Norton Internet Security was switched to 'block
all internet activity' in the Microsoft Office 2003 index.

I have now solved the problem,

Thank-you for your time in trying to resolve my problem.
