interpolating beyon data points

Austin

I have ploted data that I have, and fitted a curve to the
data, now I would like to interpolate a result beyond the
fitted curve. Is there a method in Excel to do this. I
know that you cannot go too far with out lossing
accuracy, but that is ok.

If by "fitted a curve to the data" you mean added a trendline to the
graph, format the trendline to display the equation.

In the Add Trendline and Format Trendline dialogs, you can click on the
Options tab, and move the Forecast forward and backward from the
endpoints of the fitted line.
