Invalid Arguement

I have some large DBs that use passthrough queries to gather information. I
have my odbc set to 0 for timeout but after running one or two queries I get
the Invalid Arguement box. The first two queries work fine. If I create a new
DB and import all tables I can run again for two or three queries before I
get the same Invalid Arguement.

I have tried compact and repair database but no luck. Any ideas as to what
is going on?
