Invalid Argument Different for FE/BE

Sorry if repost, i know i don't recieve reply emails anymore and I can't find
the post i thought i made.

i have tab delimited texts file that i need to be imported every two weeks.
i imported to the BE the file to create the base table for holding the rest
of the releases. i then linked that table to my FE. when i run an import
from the same file into the FE i receive "invalid argument" error but the
info is imported. if i import to the BE no error but i cannot save the
import, "property not found".

Any suggestions?

Ac2007/XP.

i have an cmb Db i used to do this with no issues, orginally i copied the
tables over but received the errors above so i started from scratch, no
differnce.
