Invalid argument during import

I have split my database and am trying to perform an import and save specs in
the frontend of the database, but I get an error "invalid argument" most if
not all of the data seems to be imported, but does not complete cleanly.

When I try to import the text file with all the same specs in the backend
database it performs fine. Does anyone have a reason for this? tHanks

you should be using a real ETL tool-- Access doesn't have basic ETL
capabilities.
