invalid argument importing text file

Hi,

I cannot import a .xtx file (about 3 million line) into Access. I keep
receiving an "Invalid Argument" statement. I want to import it so I can
change the several fields from a long integer to a text field.

Anyway, to get around the import issue I linked the txt. file and from that
I tried to create a make table so I could then change the fields in the make
table but I get a invalid argument again. Please help meeeeee.
