Hi,
I have a problem with my new Project Server 2003 installation.
I recently installed a Project 2003 Server with the following
characteristics

1. Project Server , OS: 2003 sp1, locale Greek. (regional & language
otptions>advanced:Greek)
2. Database Server SQL Server 200 sp4 greek server collation order,OS: 2003
sp1, locale Greek. (regional & language otptions>advanced:Greek)
3. My machine - Project 2003 pro , OS XP sp2 , locale Greek. (regional &
language otptions>advanced:Greek)

"default user account settings" was checked at all machines and machines
were rebooted

when I try to connect to project server from my machine it displays a
message claiming that the codepages of my pc (3) and the project server(1)
are different

Any help would be great.

This really gave me hell, but I managed to solve it in my case any way.

I deleted all the installation of project 2003 and project server 2003.

Changed the default locale to all the computers (client, server, sql)

Sql collation to greek, tried to connect and I get the following error

"Cannot connect, Microsoft Project was unable to establish

a connection with the selected Microsoft Project Server. This could be

caused by a loss of network connectivity, invalid username or password,

lack of an enterprise global template, problems with the Microsoft Project

Server or database, or your Microsoft Project Server may not have

enterprise features enabled."

Arghh

The problem was solved as in the following landscape

1. Project Server GREEK VERSION , OS: 2003 sp1, locale Greek. (regional &
language

otptions>advanced:Greek)

2. Database Server SQL Server 200 sp4 greek server collation order,OS: 2003

sp1, locale Greek. (regional & language otptions>advanced:Greek)

3. My machine - Project 2003 pro ENGLISH VERSION, OS XP sp2 , locale Greek.
(regional &

language otptions>advanced:Greek)

Hope this helps
