Invalid Page fault

On opening Word 97 I get the illegal operation window.
The Detail>> says
WINWORD caused an invalid page fault in Module MS097.DLL at
0197:30703cb5.

What's the fix for this one?

Possibly because Microsoft Office Service Release 1 is not installed, or
because Microsoft Office was recently reinstalled and the SR-1 patch was
not reinstalled. See

Thank you.
I went to the suggested web site and tried all three
methods with the following results:
Method 1--installing the MS Office 97 SR-1 Patch
Result: Can't install,because the install program can't
find Office. (I can find it!!)
Method 2 Download the Autocorrect utility
Done, but no difference.
Method 3. Rename the *.acl files.
Done, and still no functionality for MS Word.

Pleas note: the invalid page pault I am getting is in
module MSO97.DLL at 0187:30703cb5 NOT at 014f:306c59b9

Try clicking on Start | Run | "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\winword.exe /a" (don't type the quotes, and modify the
path to point to where your winword.exe file is located). If Word
starts okay, then the problem could be a corrupted Registry Data key or
Normal.dot template... see
