Invalid Use Of Null

I just installed Access 2003 on a Windows XP Pro
machine. I'm creating a new form, and want to drop in a
Command Button from the tools toolbar. When I drop the
button on, I get an error message that says "Invalid use
of null" and my only choice is "OK"

The wizard launches that steps you through the button
choices, but the right side of the screen is blank and
doesn't give me any choices!

Is this a conflict or is there a patch that will fix
this??
