i would like help to write an invation letter to an overseas friend who i
would like to spend her holidays with me

As posted several times, this is not a newsgroup to help people write
letter.

We help build databases in Microsoft Access.

You can't figure out how to write a letter to a friend?

It seems to me that we are seeing about one a day of these very very
similar request just starting a few days ago. I wonder what is up.

Either people are using the online Help from Word, and simply
selecting the default newsgroup (Access); or some schoolteacher thinks
that microsoft.public.access is for public access to Microsoft and has
instructed his/her students to post here.
