inverted commas in tags

Hi Folks.

I am using the inverted comma symbol to enclose tag attributes by using
Shift - , key. However, Front Page is using an inverted comma that looks
italicized and the browser will not recognise the attribute. Any idea how to
force a regular quote symbol please?

Thanks

Tag attributes should be enclosed in quotes - double quote " for preference,
but the apostrophe ' would do.
On my UK keyboard these are Shift+2 and ' (between ; and #) keys.
FrontPage 2003 can be configured to insert these quotes for you -
Tools->Page Settings - IntelliSense tag
Tick the box: HTML attribute value quotes

Thanks Ronx.

On checking I found that set correctly but the problem was still there.

However, as with a lot of things Microsoft, the problem solved itself. I
was demonstrating the problem to somebody in the office using the quick tag
editor on a p tag. I opened the editor, hit space, selected class from the
drop down list, entered the equals sign and then then typed the opening
quote, which appeared in the incorrect format. Then out or curiosity I put a
space between the word 'class' in this case (could have been align etc..) and
the equal sign and this time the two sets of inverted commas appeared
automagically and in the correct format. Since then, the quotes have
displayed correctly regardless of whether there is a space between the
attribute word and the equals sign.:)

Cheers
Mike
