When I email a report out of Access as an attachment the message opens with
the usual To, cc, Subject and Attachments fields but the Attachments field
is empty. In the past the attached file would appear there and I would be
able to preview it before sending it. However if I send the email the
attachment is received by the recipient. If I right click the Attachment
field I get the option to Open, Save As etc. If i choose Open I get the
message:
Cannot create file: xyz.rtf. Right click the folder you want to create the
file in and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your
permissions for the folder.
If I use another network computer to send the same report from Access there
is no problem.
Is there anything I can do to make the attachment appear in the Attachments
field?
