I have Groove 2007 and have just been invited to a new workspace created by
a colleague who is still running Groove 3.1 but recive the following error
message:
"You cannot accept invitations from earlier Groove versions. Groove is
configured to accept invitations to workspaces created in Groove version 2007
or later."
However on the MS website Groove help section the advice reads:
"Can I invite other Groove users to new workspaces I create if they are not
running Office Groove 2007?
No. Anyone you invite to a workspace created with Office Groove 2007 must
upgrade in order to accept the invitation. However, Office Groove 2007 users
can accept invitations to workspaces created by users of Groove Virtual
Office version 3.0 or 3.1."
So is the help wrong or my laptop's software! Surely I must be able to work
with people using earlier versions somehow? As an independent consultant I
cannot ensure that present and future colleages on projects all use the same
version...
