IP PHONE REGISTERATION

A

ahmed

hi all:

i sat up OCS and made edge server and mediation server
but i want to know the parameters needed to register ip phones (specially
polycom 600 series)

i.e.;
- the outhentication ID (is it FQDN or SIP account?)
- the outhentication password
- the the registerer server (is it the OCS server or the mediation server)

note that there is no itegration with any PBX (only want to use OCS as our
soft PBX with ip phones)

i checked the disscution group and found that it isnt possible to connect ip
phones with OCS server and we need mediation server

so i installed mediation server to be able to connect ip phones (hard
phones)
now how can i register ip phones with OCS server or mediation server if it
possible?

thx every body

Hi Ahmed,

There isn't yet a Microsoft 'Unified Communications' branded single discussion group. You may want to also post this in the MS
Office Communication Server discussion group through the link below.
