IPAQ Outlook 97 XP AcSync 3.5: backup sync?

Hi,

I use an IPAQ 1910 with Active Sync 3.5, Outlook 97 and XP.
It works fine. However my computer went on the fritz, and while
I was fixing it I was considering a backup sync with the netbook that
has XP on it. Before I install Outlook on it and attempt to sync with
the netbook as a backup, I was wondering if that would cause
a problem.
