Iphone 3GS and Outlook Contacts and Calendar Problems

I just bought my Iphone 3GS and I'm having no luck synching my calendar and
contacts.

I have O2007 with Windows XP.

I tried suggestions with the Trust Center of Outlook...nothing.
I tried resetting the history sync in Itunes...nothing.
I created a new user in Windows and then set up my email again with
Outlook...nothing.
I called apple and tried their suggestions for about 2 hours...nothing.

I keep coming up with lots of nothing.

Any suggestions?

Did you try Apple's iPhone forum for Mail, Calendar and Contact issues at
http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1144? The people there
would have more experience doing it.

I did contact Apple and the problem does seem to be Outlook. All features of
the Iphone sync correctly exept for the calendar and contacts of Outlook.

Is there anyone out there with similar problems?

would have more experience doing it.

I did contact Apple and the problem does seem to be Outlook. All features of
the Iphone sync correctly exept for the calendar and contacts of Outlook.

Outlook does not take an active role in the sync process and there are no
settings within Outlook that control the sync. It's all up to the software
(iTunes) you use.

Did you call Apple support or visit the support forums at Apple? They are
two very different things - the support forums are much like these, with
support provided by the "community" made up of expert users. I'd certainly
go there before calling an Apple employee.
