OneNote only runs on a phone with the windows OS. It will not run on a
iphone.

Another lost opportunity by Microsoft. It is always better to let everyone
connect with your product. It would be great if they created an interface
between the iPhone and Onenote.

But the basic technologies simply are too different.

OneNote shipped before the iPhone - since the iPhone uses a proprietary
OS there wasn't any way Microsoft could have engineered OneNote to sync
to a device that effectively didn't exist yet. Perhaps in the next
version there will be something more; but that would also require Apple
to be open to letting Microsoft (or a 3rd party) write that sync tool.
