Hello Dave,

Yes, you are right. IRibbonUI.ActivateTab() method is a new Ribbon
developemtn improvement in Office 2010. It is introduced in this office
2010 new feature blog article,

For Office 2007, we have to set the keytip of a Ribbon tab. After that we
can activate a tab by calling SendKeys.Send. See Cindy's reply in this

Yep - doing that. The SendKeys has timing problems so I was hoping we
had a better solution for 2007. Oh well...
