Hello:
Does this happen to you? I am using Access XP. Open Access Help. Select the
Answer Wizard tab, enter some text in the "What would you like to do?"
textbox, and then try to backspace or use the left arrow key. These
keystrokes don't work. If you then select and delete what you've entered,
and enter new text, backspace and left arrow key work correctly and function
correctly from then on.
This has been happening for as long as I can remember. Maybe I'm crabby
today, but it's driving me crazy. I am a fast and inaccurate typist; I type,
make a mistake, try to backspace, see that it doesn't work, sigh, mutter an
expletive under my breath, select and delete and try again...
Does this happen to anyone else? Am I the only one? Do you think Microsoft
knows about this? It's a tiny thing, but the expletives are getting worse
and I'm afraid one day I'll forget to keep my voice down and will have to
explain my behaviour to a gaggle of wide-eyed students in the library...
Cheers!
