Is Access being discontinued?

Red

I have been hearing the Access will be discontinued in 2 years. Is this true?
Is it just support? Thanks in advance for your response.

There have been such rumours floating about for more than the last
decade. Microsoft has lots of folks working on the next release of
Access.

It may be true that you heard it, but hearing it from an authoritative,
authentic, and believable Microsoft source is quite something else again.
Is it just support?

Official "support" has ended for some versions of Access, and will,
eventually, end for more recent version, so that may be what the someone
whispered in your ear.
Thanks in advance for your response.

You are welcome.

I think you misheard. The fact is that aaron kempf was discontinued several
years ago. That can equally truthfully be stated that "Microsoft ran his
sorry ass off the campus." That's the truth, not Access, but "aaron".

It is also true that Microsoft never supported aaron, he was always a
hanger-on, but never gained standing to be "supported". He's a truly Sad Lad.

So Sorry For Aaron's Support Being Dropped.

And to be fair support is being dropped for many older versions of MS
products such as Windows NT 4.0, Exchange, SQL Server 7.0 and so on.
