Is conditional formatting of connector lines possible?

Hi,

Is it possible to link data to connector lines in Visio 2007 Pro? For
example, say I want to graphically illustrate the flow of resources (e.g.,
money, information, products, etc). Can I link data on these flows to a
connector line so that the line gets wider or changes colors as the flows get
larger? (and conversely, the connector line gets narrower as the flow becomes
smaller?

This would be a tremendously useful feature, I believe, and if it isn't in
Visio 2007, it ought to be in the next version.

Yes, you can do this in Visio .. in every version that I have used since
1996.
You just need to link a formula in the right ShapeSheet cell to a custom
property/shape data value.
For example, you can enter a formula such as =Prop.MyData in the LineWeight
cell.

Umm, David I think he is talking about something slightly different. Visio
has always been able to change the thickness of a line by placing a formula
in a cell, but that sets the line thickness for the entire length. I think
is is looking for a tapered line or one that supports a colour transition.
Both of which can be done with Visio. Chris did a blog on Sankey diagrams.
