Is CS561401.CAB a valid file in Office Pro 2003?

G

gac

While running detect and repair from the help menu in Outlook the program
reports that the file CS561401.CAB is missing and request the installation
disk.
The file CS561401.CAB is not on the installation disk and the program has to
be canceled.
A search of the office web site and the internet finds no reference for the
file name CS561401.CAB.
Is this a file that should be on the installation disk?

Hello,

Did you get resolution on this issue? I got the same message when I tried
to install a service pack update. But I am using a school computer so do not
have the original office CD to check. Sounds like it would not have done any
good to begin with.

I get an error about windows installation files corrupt on my computer but
can't run a service pack update to fix the problem without getting this
error. Any clues would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem when installing SP2 for Office 2003 on one of my
computers. There is no file on the original disk called CS561401.cab. A
search finds others have had the same problem, but no slution seems to have
ever been provided.
