Is FP 2002 recommended for a beginner?

I do not know html code. I can browse and find a file with no problem, and I know how to use properties to find files.
Do you think I should buy FP2002 to build my own small business or am i getting in over my head. I am a fast learner and I am fairly computer literate. But I am by far a code programmer!

If your going to purchase FrontPage, I would recommend version 03, it has more features and still is easy to learn

There is only one way to learn and FrontPage is a good program to start with. If you enjoy reading books, I would recommend Jim Buyens FrontPage 2003 Inside and Out
http://www.interlacken.com

You can also take a look at the online trial version at Runaware to get you started: http://www.runaware.com/microsoft/frontpage2003

Remeber to have some fun between the hair pulling:)

We seem to be on par, re comuter knowledge. I installed a trial copy of FP2002 a week ago and after the first day or so found it to be quite easy to work around. I would suggest you get hold of a copy of FrontPage for dummies and I am sure you will be OK
Best of luc

I second this recommendation. As I've said before, "I can't say enough about
Jim's book. I have both FrontPage 2003 Inside/Out and FrontPage 2003 Special
Edition and if you only have monies to purchase one, FrontPage 2003
Inside/Out is the best."

The FrontPage 2003 Special Edition book has a marketing edge to it, there is
always some between the lines ad. But then that is what the primary author,
Paul Colligan, does for a living.

Well I bought FP2002 and while i was in the mood to spend $$ I bought XP upgrade as well. I like the FP2002 so far but being a beginner and I do mean beginner I think I will get the "for dummies book" as well! FP2002 is pretty easy to navigate but there are quite a few things I have yet to learn. I have started on the homepage for my Small Business website but I have ran into a few things that leave me scratching my head..like ok I've got my dropdown menus and the "submit" button but I relabeled "Go". Is there any way to get it to where once a dropdown menu item is clicked on then it "goes" to that specific page instead of having to click on Go(submit)?? And of course I am still figuring out how to get the Submit/go function to know where to go! I told you I was a beginner! I WASN'T KIDDDING! lol
