Is it a good idea to update to Entourage 13.0?

Dear friends:

Is it a good idea to update to Entourage 13.0 (EWS)?

I read from some poster in MacUpdate that it is a lot faster than
12.2.1, and that it has many new interesting features.

My company doesn't use Exchange 2007, but uses the previous version
(2003? 2004?), and also I have several POP and IMAP accounts on my
actual Entourage installation.

What do you recommend me to do?

Thanks a lot again.

Thanks

Hi Juan,

if you do not use Exchange, you won't notice any difference between
Entourage 2008 and Entourage 2008 EWS, and there's no compelling reason for
you to upgrade.

If you use Exchange 2007 with the latest updates, you will notice some
considerable improvements with regards to Exchange compatibility. However,
if your company's Exchange 2007 server is not fully up-to-date, or if your
company uses a version of Exchange older than 2007, you won't be able to
install EWS, as the Exchange Web Services is incompatible with any version
other than 2007. In your case, you should (or rather have to) stick with the
traditional Entourage 2008.
