Is it difficult to have a shopping cart using Publisher?

Im a novice planning to build a commercial web site. Is it possible and
practical to have a shopping cart using Publisher as my design software?
(2003 or possibly upgrading to 2007)

Publisher is not a good tool to create a shopping cart. Some hosts provide
shopping carts as part of their hosting service. You can link to the
shopping cart from your publisher pages.
