Is it feasible to upload a batch of files and save time?

Hi team,

I have a large amount of files ready to be uploaded to ON2007, which are
located at my C:/ drive. Regarding the time that takes insert each of them as
printouts, I was wondering is there any way/idea/macros that could help to
speed their upload process?

Any contribution is highly appreciated
Regards!

Hello John, thank for your proposal but I forgot to specify the files are in
PDF and DOC format.
Any idea to import them like that powertoy for TXT format? (I like that one
because you mention that you can choose the destination notebook! amazing!)

Cheers!

Hello again,

I know of no importer for those file types. You can open them and
copy/paste the data to OneNote, or open them and Print to OneNote to send the
info.

If you may want to edit the data, I recommend the copy/paste method.

Thanks John, I am opening file by file and inserting them as printout. The
average rate of upload is around 3 - 5 minutes by file, but it could be
longer depending on its size.

Cheers!

In case you are still listening:

I do things like that with putting FinePrint in between.

FinePrint is a most versatile tool for fine-tuning any kind of printing
job.
I have been using it since a very early version and I would really not
know how do without.
On what it can do pls see:
http://www.fineprint.com/products/fineprint/index.html

One of it's fantastic features is that it adds an item to the "SendTo"
section of the right-click context menu in the Explorer (and other file
managers).

Using this one can select multiple files in the Explorer and "bulk" send
them to FinePrint.
When done wit that, in FinePrint one can print the whole pile of files
to ON.
And thereafter one can use the "PrintOut" PowerToy" to customize things
in ON.

FWIW:
It can easily be done using FinePrint as an intermediary.
Pls see my reply to the OP.
