Is it possible to insert a hyperlink into a protected Word Doc?

WE have a protected Word doc that we use to fill out and email employee
information to a distribution list. There is a hyperlink that opens to an
email new message, but it doesn't include the address. We would like to see
the address come up in the mail window without having to add it.

Any ideas?
