is it possible to merge archives?

I have searched this and I have found loads of articles on merging pst files
by merging them within the profile, but nothing about merging just 2archive
files. Is this just a case of opening them and dragging one into the other?

The only method, within outlook to merge pst data, is by having the relevent
data files open, and copying data from one to the other

Well, it's a case of opening them both and copying the _contents_ of one to
the other.
