Is it possible to password protect a folder in office xp

If possible, I need to protect two folders from other employees in our
company. I know we can protect individual files, but that would take
forever. I'd like to simply add a password to these two folders (both
contain word documents only) and be done with it. Any suggestions?

Zip the wod files and password protect that zip file! Alternatively,
move the files to a location/account which requires password to login.

For example, on my system I have two accounts - one requires no password
at all and so all the files in My Documnets are readilly available to
whoever gets hold of my PC. The other account always requires a
password and it is only me who has it!!! It contains all my private
matters to do with my research work.
