Is it possible to repair ms office without the cd?

Hi all. Recently when i try to start my ms excel, it would prompt for my ms
office cd probably to do some repair. As i have lost the cd, is it possible
to repair it without the cd? I would also like to know how i can install ms
office such that i do not need the cd every time a repair is required. I am
currently using ms office 2k. Thks in advance.

No, you will need the CD.

You can copy the CD to your hard drive and run setup from there. Then the
Windows installer will know that the source is local to the drive.
