Is it possible to see the DAY (Mon, Tue...) on Task groupings?

Right now, I see "Start Date: October 11, 2004 (17 items)

I'd like to see "Start Date: Mon, Oct 11, 2004 (17 items)"

Is this possible, and if so, how?

Thanks in advance for your wisdom :)

Regards,
Adam

Yes, but it will use the same format as used for long date settings in
Windows Control panel, regional settings. Right click on the row of field
names and choose customize, then format columns. Choose the first format
option for the field. If the long date format in Regional settings is
abbreviated, you can use the abbreviated version in the group name.

Thanks for your quick reply... but oops, I don't think I was specific
enough... sorry!

My system's long-date format is in the form of "Sunday, October 10, 2004."
And the view of the Start Date column in my tasks folder is "Sun 10/10/2004"
which is fine.
However, I can't figure out how to add the day name to the *grouping*
headers, which currently read: "Start Date: October 10, 2004 (7 items). I
want them to read "Start Date: Sunday, October 10, 2004" or something close
to that.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Adam

Right... and I said how to do it:

It will change it for both the Start field and the Grouping title, you can't
avoid it since both use the same field.
