Is it possible to use VSTO with Word 10 (Word XP)?

Is it possible to use VSTO with Word 10 (Word XP) or am I limited to COM (IDTExtensibility2) add-ins?

VSTO is designed to be used with Office 2003. VSTO uses some capabilities of
Office 2003 that earlier versions of Office don't have.

Thank you Harry.

Since the intended customers of the add-in use both Word XP and 2003, I guess I'll have to stick to IDTExtensibility2.

That is possibly the most concise EULA to ever come from Microsoft :)
