Is it still possible to download the Office 2007 beta?

When I try to get it from Microsoft, after I choose the download site, I get
"This site is no longer available. Please click here www.microsoft.com to be
redirected to Microsoft." There is a note that downloads are still available
on a cost recovery basis (which I'm happy to do).

Any suggestions?

Nope, not an official answer. If you read the announcement that was
leaked and posted on
http://www.activewin.com/awin/comments.asp?HeadlineIndex=36736&Group=1
You will see that it says that the Office Preview Site will close down
10/25. However, that site is still online. If Microsoft had already
taken the Beta permanently off the Internet, I'd assume that they closed
down that site. As they didn't, I am speculating that this might be a
temporary issue.
