Is my sound working?

I replaced my speakers but I could get no sound. How can I find out whether
it is the speakers or the computer?

If they it worked with the old speakers, what does that indicate?
In any case its not an Office problem

go into control panel and make sure mute button is not checked on sound

Put those speakers on another computer or put other speakers on your
computer.
