" is not valid name ????

I have a data base which was occupied by importing data from an excel
spreadsheet. When I try to name the report I get a ! message saying " is not
valid name. It will not allow me to open the report?????

How are you going about running the report? Is it done by a macro, or a
VBA procedure? Can you post back with the details?
