Is Office 2000 bought for student 6 years ago OK to leave on comp

About 6 or 7 years ago I bought & installed Office 2000 academic addition on
a computer used by my child who was a student at the time. She has since
graduated from college & no longer uses this computer. Is it within the
license to leave this Office 2000 on this computer for other users. I have
recently bought a computer along with XP & Office 2003 which is my primary
computer.

As long as it still works without an issue it is perfectly OK to do so
