is office 2000 compatiable with windows 98

Question:) i have windows 98. i use to have word 97,my computer crashed. is
ms office 2000 compatiable with windows 98? what would work for my computer.
is ms works the same and does this have a word program in it. help:(

Every Office version through XP works with your computer, so everything
other than Office 2003 can run on your computer.
