Is OUTLOOK 2002 capable of downloading headers only?

My OUTLOOK's version is 2002(SP3). And I set my IMAP mail acct. to download
item description only. Is it the same as download headers only? Why is it
that when I download a new email, it downloads right away the whole message
including the headers, the body and the attachment if there is? How can I
download headers only and choose afterwards which body to download?

Please enlighten me about this thing. Thanks a lot.
