Is Picture Manager included in Office 2007? Are there some suites it's
included in and others it is not?

It's included here in Office Pro 2007 and Office Ultimate 2007 (the only two
suites I have clean installs of with no previous versions of Office to cloud
the issue), but I don't know about the others. I'd imagine it's in all of
them except maybe Basic, although I didn't see anything specific on the MS
site.

ah

IMHO it should be included as basic in all the suites but I am not 100%
sure. I had it in the beta version.

Run Setup and look under Office Tools. You may need to select Picture
Manager for your installation configuration.

Ah and Echo S,

Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's in there, but I need confirmation that it's
included with Office Small Business 2007 before I buy it. Anybody using the
Small Business suite?

Don, again, thanks.

Actually, if anyone has the standard suite, can you please check to see that
picture manager is there?

Thanks again

Hi guys,
I have Office Professional 2007 and it is not in here at all and I need it
for my work - 75% of my work I use that one. I have done something silly and
kept both 2003/2007 microsoft on my computer because until I find a 2007
version that I can download I need to keep it. Does anyone know where I can
get this from?) - much appreciated. (Pharoah032's Wife)

Hi 'Wife',

If Office 2007 Picture Manager does not appear in
Start=>Programs=>Microsoft Office=>Microsoft Office Tools
you can add that feature from the Microsoft Office 2007 choice
in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel.

The Picture Manager for Office 2007 and Office 2003 are basically the same (OIS.exe), so it may be that the 2003 version is the one
running.

Hi Bob,

My laptop was installed with Office 2007 Small Business. BUT, with a Trial
version option for Office 2007 Professional. In spite of my not being
interested in Access whatsoever, I'm now in a bind because whenever I try to
use Picture Manager, it's disabled and leads me to a deadend "Microsoft
Activation Wizard" screen asking me to purchase Office Pro or exit. I seem to
remember that Picture Manager used to work on this system (maybe for the
first 30 days?)

I checked the Control Panel and my Office Tools setup and it looks like
Windows Manager is there, under Tools, set as up as "Run from My Computer".
So I don't know why the trial genies are not letting me use it. --- Now,
what's also interesting is that I see Access is enabled there also as "Run
from My Computer". Should I use this configuration screen to Disable it
myself? And muck with the rigamarole of registry regeneration that wants to
proceed after clicking 'Yes, reconfigure' (which is all voodoo to me).

Thanks!
RobertW
