Is Resources only what Olap cubes are for in PWA?

Are the OLAP cubes for PWA only for resources information? Can they be used
in PWA for Tasks , milestones or other needs. If so how do you go about using
them for this!

Yes, the OLAP tools are highly focused on resources. Tasks and assignments are "rolled up" and implied in the analysis. Hope that helps.
