Is SAVED ITEMS subfolder recoverable?

Hi All!

I'm new in Windows Vista-WMail. I had saved a couple dozen messages in my
emails' Local Folders/Saved Items subfolder, some with attachments (mostly
..pps).
I was deleting ONE saved message yesterday. After I clicked delete, the
ENTIRE

Saved Items subfolder was gone! Even the title "Saved Items" could not be
found.

Any way I could still retrieve the subfolder? I could not find it in the
Recycle Bin,
which is normal, as deleted messages do not pass thru the Recycle Bin.
