Dear all MVPS,

I need the advice on the way to reset the default text qualifier in the

Hi, Peter.
I need the advice on the way to reset the default text qualifier in the
export specification
screen from double quote " " to single quote ' '.

When you export to the text file manually, the Export Text Wizard appears.
Press the "Advanced..." button to open the Export Specification dialog
window. Up at the top is a combo box labeled "Text Qualifier." Change it
from " to ' and then save this as a specification by pressing the "Save As"
button and naming your specification.

Next time you use the Export Text Wizard, you can again apply this rule by
pressing the "Advanced..." button to open the Export Specification dialog
window, then pressing the "Specs" button and selecting this specification.

Yes, it is possible. This question was answered, perhaps you did not
get the answer in the newsgroup.

Use the "Advanced" button on the export wizard, and choose ' as a
delimiter.
